Israel@75 Hatikvah

Clients: Keren Kayemet L’Israel, ARZENU, The Herzl Society of ARZA, ARZA Canada, the URJ and the RJCC

The challenge: How do you engage over a thousand people in dozens of synagogues spanning thousands of miles and get them singing the same song, in the same key, with the same phrasing — without headphones, little or no rehearsal, and using the synagogues’ own amateur/volunteer videographers? More importantly, how do you do it in a beautiful, artistic way, on-time and on-budget?

The answer: Ensembles Online! Our team handled all aspects of production, including complete concept design, congregational instructions and materials, original choral and instrumental arrangement, audio and video editing.

Safe On The Shore

Client: The Cantors Assembly of North America
Date: March, 2021
Services: Our team was commissioned by the Cantors Assembly to create the entire project from start to finish. We composed the new piece, arranged it for choir, created the guide tracks, produced the audio, and produced the video.

Miriam’s Song

Client: Project Kesher
Date: March, 2021
Services: Our team wrote the arrangement and produced the music. An outside director, Ray Foley, oversaw the beautiful visuals. The video hit over 100,000 views in the first two weeks on Facebook and Vidmo.

Longing

Client: Canadian Friends of Yad Vashem
Date: April, 2020
Services: Our team wrote and arranged the original piece. This was our first big video, created right at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. We’ve learned a lot since then, but it’s still a beautiful piece written by our own Judy Adelman Gershon. It has been adopted for use by the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam.

Blow

Client: Nancy Vincic and Friends
Date: Summer, 2020
Services: Our team produced the audio and video for this piece. It was fun to show that we could do more than synagogue choir music! All performers recorded themselves, in their own homes, then our team brought it all together.

Adon Olam

(‘Basic Package’ example)

Client: Temple Emanu-El, Toronto
Date: Fall, 2020
Services: Our team wrote and arranged the music and produced the audio and video. This is an example of what our basic package includes without additional ‘fancy’ editing… Everyone on screen, synced, etc. This is a volunteer synagogue choir.
